Awana is a mid-week Bible centered club for children. The name Awana is derived from the first letters of:
Approved Workmen Are
Not Ashamed
found in II Timothy 2:15.
Awana was founded with the purpose of enhancing the effectiveness of the local church in reaching boys and girls with the
gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him.
Club time is divided into three parts:
- Handbook Time - Bible memorization
- Council Time - Bible lessons, music, awards and achievements
- Game Time - Competition, sportsmanship and teamwork
Through participation in these Awana activities, we believe your child will understand how much God loves them, and that
obeying Him and learning His Word will give them a more rewarding and meaningful life.
