The handbook is vital to your child's success in Awana. With it, your child has the opportunity to read firsthand about God's desire for a close personal relationship. The goal is to complete one handbook during each club year.
Here are some things to remember:
- After your child has completed the entrance booklet, a note will be sent home telling you that a handbook may be purchased.
- Your child needs to bring his handbook and Bible with him to club each week.
- Your child needs to bring his handbook each week to club in order to earn credit for passing sections.
- Your child no more than two (2) helps per section of Bible memory verses recited in order to receive credit.
- Sections are passed when they are recited to an Awana leader at club during Handbook Time.
- Your encouragement and involvement in memorizing Bible verses is crucial to your child's progress and self-confidence.
- Clubbers must pass at least one section every three (3) weeks or we will ask them not to attend the following week.
