Why We Exist as a Church:

Our church exists to glorify God
by making disciples who:
love Christ, love one another, and
live to reach our world for Christ

The purpose of our church is summarized in a single sentence based on three key scriptures:

The Great Commandment:  "Jesus said, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul...and mind.  This is the great and foremost commandment.  The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'  On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."  Matthew 22:37-40

The Great Commission:  "And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you...'"  Matthew 28:18-20

The Great Conclusion:  "Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."  1 Corinthians 10:31
